Enduring Guardianships

shutterstock_128291111An Enduring Guardianship appoints one or more people to act as your legal guardian, allowing them to make lifestyle decisions, such as where you live and what care and services you receive.  An appointment can also specify if you would like your guardian to refuse medical treatment on your behalf in certain circumstances (for example, refusing to continue the use of life support equipment in the event that you were terminally ill or in a coma).

Putting in place an Enduring Guardianship means that your loved ones will know your wishes and be able to follow those wishes if needed.
